Sally King is trained in the YogaFIT style which is a Vinyasa flow style, focusing on making yoga available and safe for everybody.
New to Yoga?
Welcome to yoga with Sally! Always allow yourself extra time to find our location, park and arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts. We have a new student sheet for you to complete and I want this to be a non-rushed experience. In preparation of your arrival, here are a few other things to consider:
Wear comfortable clothing, somewhat fitted so that you can move easily and that I can see your body alignment to make sure your yoga experience is 100% safe
Please bring a yoga mat and a yoga strap. Prepare to be barefoot. Consider bringing a blanket or pillow to cushion your knees or for your head for extra comfort. A hand towel is also a great idea, should you sweat.
If you have an injury or any existing health condition, be sure to mention that to Sally so that proper modifications can be given.
I want you to be as “in the moment” as possible during class, so phones/smartwatches are best left at home or in your car
Trust me, you are flexible and capable for this class and ANY body can do yoga. We welcome you and want you to feel comfy and safe here. Let us care for you.
